Home to the Straw Lake Beach Gold Mine, Shotgun Exploration was created in 2005 with the purchase of the property. Since the purchase, Shotgun Exploration has Kept the nearest 2,500 acres +/- currrently in good standing till 2012.

As of April 2010 - the majority of the claims in the area are open for staking. The nearest 6,000 acres to the Gold Mine are taken and in good standing till 2012.

Shotgun Exploration plans to continue an extensive work program in 2010 - Mechanical Stripping, Pressure Washing, Mapping and Sampling will be carried out on approximately 2,500 acres of claimed land (Surrounding the Gold Mine).

- 24.43 oz/ton Gold (Found in Dump Pile) - Found During Site Visit by Rainy River Resources & MNDM* (Spring 2006)

- 17.89 oz/ton Gold (Found in Dump Pile) - Found During Site Visit by Teck Cominco (May 14th, 2006)

- 2.9 oz/ton Silver + .34% Copper (Dump Pile) - Found During Site Visit by MNDM* (Summer 2005)
